Boron is an essential micronutrient on the plant (in small quantity). It can be added to a fertilizer mixture specially formulated for cultivation or added if there is a sign of deficiency in plants. Boron is very immobile in the plant. Boron deficiency can cause death of the terminal bud and roots, a curved rod and brown spots on the stems.
