This product is approved for organic farming in Canada.
Boron is an essential micronutrient in the plant (in small quantity allowed). It can be added to a fertilizer mixture specially formulated for cultivation or added if there is a sign of deficiency in plants.
Boron is very immobile in the plant. Boron deficiency can cause death of the terminal bud and roots, a curved rod and brown spots on the stems. Among cruciferous it can cause heart brown roots and hollow stems. Boron deficiency can also cause the heart corky apple, leaf discoloration and abnormal branching in alfalfa.
