Hybrid role combining agronomic expertise, business development, and fertilizer production oversight.
The successful candidate will be responsible for greenhouse input sales, technical advisory services to growers, and the formulation and quality control of soluble fertilizers produced by the company.
We Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development (75%)

Develop and maintain a client portfolio within the greenhouse sector

Advise growers on selecting inputs tailored to their specific needs

Conduct on-site visits to assess operations and recommend customized solutions

Achieve established sales targets and ensure strong client follow-up

Identify new business opportunities and participate in industry events
Fertilizer Production (15%)

Develop and adjust soluble fertilizer formulations based on market needs

Oversee fertilizer blending to ensure compliance with specifications

Optimize existing formulas based on client feedback and analytical results

Document formulations and manufacturing procedures

Contribute to continuous process improvement

Maintain and optimize technical and safety documentation

Perform quality control testing on finished products and raw materials

Ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations

Manage non-conformities and implement corrective actions

Maintain product traceability and quality documentation
Position can be 100% in business or partially in business

Academic training
Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy
Member of the Ordre des agronomes du Québec
Strong background in plant nutrition and fertilization (major asset)
Knowledge of horticultural seeds and biological pest control (asset)
Skills required
Strong knowledge of fertilizer chemistry and plant nutrition
Ability to interpret soil, water and tissue analyses
Knowledge of fertilizer regulations and quality standards
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Strong technical documentation and data management skills

Salary
(according to experience and qualifications)
Salary range: $27 to $32 per hour, depending on experience.
