The thickness required is determined by the type of application. For example, for non-woody plants produced in greenhouses, we suggested 4 or 8 mil. For outdoor production, we would recommend 10 or 15 mil. It is also called as collapsible hose, as once pressurized it becomes round and collapses on depressurizing. Being a flat tube it can be supplied on reels containing several thousand feet. Turbulent flow-path that makes it a clog-resistant drip tape. A 150-200 mesh filter has to be installed before drip tape. An operation pressure of 10 PSI is recommended.
* mil = wall thickness in thousands of an inch.
