Our pressure regulators operate without restriction until the pressure of the liquid inside the pipes reaches the desired setting so that the other elements of the irrigation system function optimally. They are designed to reduce only the pressure and do not affect the flow of water. No adjustments required.
The pressure regulator is usually installed after the other elements of the irrigation system which can cause a drop in water pressure by friction such as valves and filters. In addition, an arrow on the regulator indicates the direction in which water should flows into the irrigation system.
