Pressure gauge that allows to adjusts pressure downward in summer to prevent plastic deformation due to heat stretching. Pressure recommendation between the two films: Summer = 0.2", Winter = 0.45"
1) INSTALLATION
Install the manometer on a vertical surface using the screws provided. Drill 2 1/8 "or 9/64" holes on a vertical line of 3/16 "length. Adjust so that the bubble of the level gauge (bottom right) is in the center.
2) FILLING
- Turn the ZERO SET knob counterclockwise
Until it stops turning.
- Then make 3 turns complete with the knob in a clockwise direction. This puts the zero approximately in the middle of the fit.
- Remove the FILL button and refill with the red fluid until the fluid reaches zero on the scale. (Minor adjustments with the ZERO SET button may be required to reach zero.)
- Replace the FILL button (If the fill is too full, remove the excess by inserting the pipe on the bottle to siphon it.
3) TUBE INSTALLATION
- Connect the red part of the tube to the HIGH adapter at the top left
- Connect the white part of the tube into the LOW adapter at the top left
- Pull the tube up to polythene
- Make a hole in the polythene of the size of the small red tube.
- Insert the red tube into the hole
- Leave the white part outside the polythene
4) PRESSURE READING
- You can now make your readings
- Pressure ratings between greenhouse films:
Hot Days: 0.2 inches of water column
Cold Days: 0.45 inches of water column
5) MAINTENANCE
- Check the fluid level regularly and adjust the zero with the ZERO SET button. (Be sure to remove the tubes and open the pledge at atmospheric pressure)
- Clean with mild soap and water; Avoid too powerful cleaners that could damage the device and the pledge.
