Model SSAT (Complete) Series A — For easy extraction of soil solution samples when testing salinity levels or plant nutrients in soil water. Series A has vinyl suction line with rubber stopper seal and pinch clamp closure.
SSAT (Soil Solution Access Tubes), or Suction lysimeters, were developed to easily extract soil ater samples for testing. They provide the user with an accurate method of determining salinity or lant nutrient levels. Because the sample is collected at root zone depth, it reflects the true mpact fertilization has on the plant material. Understanding soil water conditions helps the user ake informed fertigation scheduling decisions esulting in improved yield and reduced fertilizer, water, labor and energy costs.
