This cyclic controller is an independent climatic control unit allowing greenhouse vent opening/closing, heating system start/stop as well as an alarm contact.

Greenhouse vent(s) opening/closing
Allows greenhouse vent opening and closing in timed cycles to reach a target.
For example, by introducing the following parameters:
• 25°C opening target
• 23°C closing target
If the temperature exceeds 25°C: opening will be operated according to a timed cycle
(eg 3 SECONDS opening and 5 MINUTES waiting).
If the temperature drops below 23°C: opening will close according to a timed cycle
(eg 8 SECONDS closing for 3 MINUTES waiting).
If the temperature falls between 25°C and 23°C: opening will remain stationary. Which means that the temperature of the greenhouse is between these two points.
Closing and opening times can be adjusted separately (example: in winter, open slowly and close quickly).
In addition, for more control, opening size (ex: not to open too big in the spring), vent limit switch can be manually adjusted.
Vent opening/closing can also be done manually with the controller.
Heating system start/stop
On/Off heating unit can be operated by this controller. The setting allows you to choose a target heating temperature and a temperature hysteresis.
Heating hysteresis is the difference between the on and off temperature. It is usually set at 1°C. Example: for a set temperature at 18°C, the heating will turn on at 18°C and turn off at 19°C.
Alarm
Alarm contact (12 VDC) signal is activated by several conditions:
- too low greenhouse temperature
- too high in the greenhouse temperature
- power failure
